Community Potluck & Fundraiser

Community Potluck & Fundraiser

About This Event

Bring a dish, share a meal, and help us raise the money to finish the community garden project — specifically the water system and the raised beds that make the plots usable for our older growers.

It is a genuine potluck: long tables under the pergola, whatever everyone brought, and no seating plan. Bring a dish for six if you can, and if you cannot, come anyway. There is always far too much food.

Frequently asked questions

What if I cannot cook?

Bring bread, fruit, drinks, or nothing at all. Nobody is checking, and there is always more food than people.

We label every dish on the table and keep a separate allergen-free table stocked by the collective. Tell us in advance and we will make sure there is something good on it.

Add your name to the waiting list on the day. The new raised beds this fundraiser pays for will open around fifteen more plots next spring.

The pergola and the polytunnel between them seat everyone, so it goes ahead in almost any weather. Only a storm warning would move it.
