Disaster Relief Fund
About this campaign
When the coastal storm hit last year, the first outside help reached the worst-affected villages on day four. Not because nobody cared, but because the money had to be raised after the fact. Every day of delay after a disaster roughly doubles the cost of the response.
This fund exists so that does not happen again. Our field teams are already in place, the supplier agreements are signed, and the regional warehouse is leased. What is missing is stock on the shelves before the next call comes.
Your donation buys pre-positioned supplies — water, food, blankets and shelter materials — held ready in the regional warehouse and released the moment an alert is verified. Nothing sits in reserve for its own sake: anything unused within twelve months goes to the partner pantries rather than expiring in storage.
Where the$15,000goes
$7,500 — Emergency supplies. Water, food and blankets for the first 72 hours.
$5,000 — Temporary shelter. Tarpaulins, poles and fixings for 100 families.
$2,500 — Logistics. Transport and regional storage so supplies move on day one.
