About This Event

The Annual Charity Gala is the single largest fundraising night of our year, and the one evening the whole community that keeps our programs running is in the same room. Dinner, live music and a short programme from the families our work reaches — then the fundraising appeal that sets the budget for the year ahead.

Tickets include a three-course dinner, welcome drinks and a table for eight if you book as a group. Dress is formal. Every seat sold covers its own cost, so the whole of the evening’s giving goes straight into community programmes.

Doors open, welcome reception

Guests seated, opening remarks

A short welcome from our chair before the first course.

Dinner service begins

Three courses, with your dietary choices already at your seat.

Two families share their year, followed by the fundraising appeal.

A local seven-piece band takes the stage.

Valet parking is brought round; taxis wait at the main entrance.

What is the dress code?

Formal — black tie is welcome but not required. Comfortable shoes for the dance floor are a better investment than you would think.

Can I book a table for my company?

Yes. Tables of eight are available, and sponsored tables include your organisation's name on the evening programme. Get in touch and we will hold one for you.

Are dietary requirements catered for?

Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal menus are all available. Tell us when you book so the kitchen can plan properly.

Is my ticket tax-deductible?

The portion of your ticket above the cost of the meal is tax-deductible, and the exact figure is printed on your receipt. Anything you give during the live appeal is fully deductible.
