A three-hour cleanup of the Riverside Trail and the bank below it, from the north entrance down to the old footbridge. Gloves, grabbers, bags and refreshments are all provided — bring nothing but sturdy shoes.
This stretch of the river collects everything the storm drains bring down, and it does not clear itself. Three hours with forty pairs of hands makes a difference you can see from the bridge on the way home.

It helps us bring the right amount of kit, but walk-ins are always welcome. There has never been a cleanup where we turned someone away.
From about age 10, alongside an adult. Younger children are welcome at the equipment station, which is well away from the water.

Light rain goes ahead. High water or a storm warning cancels it, and we will post here and email everyone registered by 7:00 AM.
